Flybar Elastomeric-Spring Pogo Stick

The revolutionary new FlyBar™ delivers a gravity-defying, trampoline-emulating bounce far beyond that of ordinary pogo sticks. Rather than hopping just inches into the air, this "mobile exercise and stunt bar" lets you fly to unprecedented heights of five feet! Designed in collaboration with eight-time World Cup Champion Skateboarder Andy Macdonald and physicist Bruce Middleton, the Flybar's amazing performance is based on a patented elastomeric spring system that's totally innovative.
Incredibly, the high-tech design does not utilize steel-coil springs, pneumatic or artificial propulsion mechanisms of any kind. Instead, 12 heavy-gauge, elastomer rubber "thruster" rods — specially formulated to stretch up to 300 percent — generate awesome super-charged propulsion! When you jump on the Flybar's extra-wide foot pegs, the thrusters stretch, then recoil — launching you into the air. Want more air? Simply engage more thrusters! Each thruster is fully adjustable and capable of storing up to 100 pounds of energy, together producing 1,200 pounds of catapult-like thrust! By varying the number of thrusters, Flybar's spring system can be fine-tuned to reflect any jumper's skill level, body weight and goals. Piston length is also variable up to 18", making it easy to learn, transport and control bounce height.
This 21st century portable exercise device is ideal for building balance, strength and endurance with a truly inspirational and challenging workout. The Flybar body is constructed of high-strength, reinforced aluminum and features sure-grip handlebars and foot pegs that let you "stick" every bounce perfectly. Designed for ages 14 and older, it supports riders from 120 lbs. up to 250 lbs. Wear a helmet and use only with adult supervision. Measures 39" x 17" x 61/2" and weighs 20 lbs.
