Atkins loses big - Filed for bankruptcy

Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. filed bankruptcy last week. The fad diet has lost a lot of followers in recent years. At the beginning of 2004, nine-percent of Americans said they were on the diet. That dropped to just four-percent by the end of the year. Local dieticians say the diet's elimination of food groups may be to blame.
