Inside ICEflow, a self-contained chamber of water freezes into a block of real ice after an overnight charge. Turn on the fan (three speeds) and its cooling breeze flows across an ice-cold chilling plate. The airplane-style air vent makes it easy to direct the airflow exactly where needed. ICEflow runs for eight straight hours on a single 14-hour charge.
Cooler than any fan
Conventional fans are refreshing but — unlike air conditioners or ICEflow — have no effect on ambient temperature. In contrast, ICEflow spot cools with an "air conditioned" breeze that is several degrees colder than the room. For example, if your workstation reaches an uncomfortable 80°F on a hot summer day, the ICEflow will cool you off with a comfortable 74°F breeze.
Energy-saving operation
There is no need to empty or refill the self-contained water chamber. Once filled with tap water, you are all set for thousands of daily cycles of freezing, melting and refreezing. Environmentally friendly Peltier Effect electronics remove heat from the water chamber to create the block of ice — without Freon, without refrigerants and without any need for window ventilation.
