Sharp's® elegant AQUOS® liquid crystal television is Digital Cable Ready and presents incredibly clear, detailed high-resolution widescreen images in true 16:9 aspect ratio. The Aquos' proprietary LCD panel, with low-reflection coating, provides breathtaking color purity and higher brightness, greater dynamic contrast ratio and a wider viewing angle than conventional LCD TVs. The picture stays vivid to viewers anywhere — even near sun-drenched windows or other light sources.
There's no need to add a bulky set-top box from your HDTV-capable cable TV system provider: just plug the provider's CableCARD™ into a special slot. The included table stand is easily detachable for wall mounting. AQUOS features dual built-in stereo speakers; s-video, HDMI, DV-I and 2 HD component video inputs; plus a headphone jack. Full-function remote runs on 2 AAA batteries (included). The thin, glossy, piano black cabinet, on its stand, measures 22 1/4" x 38 1/2" x 12"; without the stand, it's only 4 1/4" deep. Weighs 45 lb.
