Share pictures with family and friends on almost any DVD player! The lightweight Sony® DVD Handycam® with professional-quality Carl Zeiss lens captures both video and still images on an included super-thin 8cm DVD-R/RW. This hand-held camcorder with 2.7" LCD fits comfortably in your palm and features a touchscreen LCD, 12x optical zoom, 480x digital zoom and a two-channel Dolby® Digital audio-recording system. The 1MP still-image capture can store up to approximately 8,500 images on a single disc (at 640 x 480 resolution). Additional 30-minute DVD-Rs (SY149, order separately) and DVD-RWs (SY152, order separately) are available.
Other features include: Steady Shot® picture stabilization; Super NightShot® plus Infrared System for recording natural color images in low-light situations; progressive shutter system for progressive-scan performance; special-effects options such as fades and wipes for your movies; and a slide show for stills. Comes with a remote control, audio and video cables for quick and easy connection to your TV, a USB cable for plugging it in to your computer, one blank DVD-R, CD-ROM software, lens cap, shoulder strap and cleaning cloth.
Measures approximately 5 1/4" long x 2 1/4" wide x 3 1/2" tall and weighs 1 lb. 6 oz. Includes 3-hour InfoLithium battery pack (charger included). Extra 3-hour battery available (SY180, order separately). Remote runs on one CR2025 battery (included).
