This cool-looking pair of portable, wireless speakers features robust weatherproof housing so you have the flexibility to enjoy your music system anywhere outside your home — on your deck or porch; in the yard or hot tub; around the pool or driveway ball court. All you do is connect the small transmitter into the headphone jack of your stereo (or TV) and plug it in. It sends 900 MHz audio signals through walls and floors to the pair of speakers, wherever they are placed — up to 150 feet away scanning ensures an interference-free signal — with optimal clarity. As you relax or party outdoors, you can adjust the volume and tuning either with the controls on the speakers or by using an included wireless remote (runs on 2 AA batteries; SM660, order separately).
Each speaker is powered by 6 C batteries (SM660, order separately); alternatively, each speaker can be plugged into any nearby outlet with its included AC adapter. Each speaker is 9 1/2" across x 8 1/2" high and features an integrated carry handle. The transmitter is 4 1/2" square x 2". 90-day warranty.
