John Travolta reprises the role of Chili Palmer, for which he won over both audiences and critics, in this comedy based on a novel by Elmore Leonard. Having exhausted all avenues in the movie industry and finding it wanting, Chili sets his sights on the music business. His first client is a singer who's on the lam from the Russian mob, and Chili finds himself resorting to his old tactics to fend them off. Costars Uma Thurman and Danny DeVito.
