The 3Com Switch 4060 offers high-availability, multilayer Gigabit Ethernet switching for the network backbone in a fixed configuration unit. It is a 24-port switch, with 12 1000BASE-SX ports, six GBIC ports, and six integrated 10/100/1000 ports.
The Switch 4060 supports 3Com's patented XRN™ technology allowing you to quickly build a fully redundant server farm or network core solution out of a pair of 3Com Gigabit switches— delivering high resiliency without complexity.
The switch has a durable metal chassis— a compact, 2RU-high rack-mountable unit.
Fault-tolerance features include modular, load-sharing, hot-swappable power supplies; modular, hot-swappable fan trays; and hot-swappable GBIC transceivers. You can install a second power supply for added power redundancy.
